The certification timeline depends on the specific remediation actions identified during your Cyber Health Check.

We’ll provide a detailed report within five working days of the assessment, outlining any steps needed to meet Cyber Essentials requirements. Once these are completed, you’ll be ready to move forward with certification.

For Cyber Essentials, you’ll have six months from the date of paying the certification fee to submit your assessment. With our remediation report as a guide, completing the form typically takes about an hour. Results are usually delivered within three working days.

Every client who has completed our Cyber Health Check and implemented our recommended remediations has successfully achieved Cyber Essentials certification.

While we can’t offer an absolute guarantee, your success largely depends on following through with the remediation steps we provide before submitting your assessment.

Certification can be achieved in as little as 24 hours and only requires 4 steps.

1. Once you have purchased a Cyber Essentials subscription, you will be given access to our platform where you can input your evidence for the controls. Helpful tips and guidance will also be provided to support your application submission.

2. The next step is submitting your application. If you are unsure as to whether you’ve provided the right information, our experts are available on live chat for support or, alternatively, you will receive feedback on each failed check at step three.

3. One of our IASME accredited auditors will review your application and for any failed checks, will provide what steps need to be taken in order to fix them.

4. Once you have passed all your checks and a successful submission has been made, you will be provided with a digital certificate of completion as well as badges to be used in your marketing materials. You will also be added to IASME’s database of certified organisations, should your partners or customers want to verify it.

Failing the assessment can delay contract opportunities and may impact your business’ reputation. Moreover, the assessment fee is non-refundable.
